Nothing beats the taste of good old traditional British baking made by hand, just the way it used to be. What started as a passion for authentic pies and homemade treats has grown into a welcoming bakery where every pastry is crafted with care, comfort, and a love for real food. We make everything on site, using time-honoured methods, quality ingredients, and recipes passed down through generations. Each pie is filled with hearty flavours, and every cake made to bring a little joy to your day. One of the things our customers love most? You can see us bake in store. The warmth from the ovens, the smell of fresh pastry, creates an experience that feels like home. From classic pork pies and savoury favourites to indulgent sweet treats and celebration bakes, Porky Pies is all about honest food, handmade with pride.

New Owners 2024

Porky Pies has been proudly run by its new owners, Rachael and Lee, since September 2024. Since taking over, they’ve brought fresh energy and passion to the bakery while staying true to the traditional recipes and handmade methods customers love. Under their care, Porky Pies has continued to grow, expanding its selection of pies, pastries, and cakes, and strengthening its reputation as the go-to spot for proper British baking. Their commitment to quality and community shines through in every bake.

We bake the traditional way — by hand, with real ingredients, zero shortcuts, and absolutely no machines pretending they know better than us. Proper pies, proper pastries, proper baking. Just like your nan used to make… only without telling you to clean your room first.
